What is your focus in life? Is it the things of this world or the things of the Spirit? Many of us focus on earthly things rather than heavenly things. It is essential to set our minds on things above where Christ is. We must know that everything upon the face of the earth is vanity. Irrespective of what we have on earth today, these things will not follow us after we transit this world to the otherside of the world. We came into this world with nothing and it’s certain that we shall leave with nothing. Solomon in his old age found everything in this world to be empty and void.

“I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.” (Ecclesiastes 1:14).

However, we must never replace eternal value with things of temporal enjoyment. All these things end here on earth. As we live daily we must know that the clock ⏰ is ticking, eventually one day will come to an end; our time under the sun will cease. There is a song 🎵 that says:

One day
Time shall stand still
And be no more
When all shall end
One day
Eternity shall start for all
Both great and small…….

This world is not our home; we are just passing by! All these things we are killing ourselves for such as fame, popularity, designers, cars, houses, job, cosmetics, money etc…they are all vanity. Once an individual is no more, belongings are inherited by other people. As we live our life on a daily basis, let’s ensure that our salvation is intact! Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith and most importantly contributing to the Kingdom (Jesus). What do I mean by that? It’s simply by reaching out to the lost and winning them to Christ. Beloved, how many souls have you won since the beginning of this year? When Jesus was leaving, He gave us the great mandate to go and make disciples.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

The Bible says He that winneth souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30). As far as you are a believer, soul winning is vital.

The question is, what are you contributing to the kingdom (Jesus Christ) ? I leave that question for you to answer.

Dearest, nothing matters in this world except God. In all Your doing and getting make sure God is your number one priority so that when the time comes, you will receive your reward in Heaven.

“7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
