According to the dictionary, vision is defined as the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. In my own understanding, vision is a clear picture of a preferable future or it is a mental picture of a diserable future.Without vision there is no future and there can be no greater future without a clear vision.

Besides, scripture also tells us the importance of having a vision

“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and makeĀ itĀ plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk 2:2).

Many of us are good at talking but never do the work. Even today, many people still don’t make the effort to write their goals and aspirations as to what they want to achieve. Beloved, it is not just enough to have a vision, we need to ensure that we work towards our vision. Where there is no vision people are valueless. To be empty of vision is to be empty in life. Remember that vision determines our future and what we see determines what we can seize. However, pursuit is a survival strategy for vision and without pursuit of vision, stagnation is inevitable. It is important to know that our life isn’t dynamic until it is specific and definite in pursuit.

Child of God, maybe your vision is to write ✍ that 📖 book this year! To help the orphanage, To graduate with a 2:1, To evangelise to lost souls, To be financial debt-free etc. What are you doing towards it? If you are writing a book, what is the purpose behind writing the book? To whom are you writing? Who is your audience? When do you intend to publish your book? People only fail in life when they fail to fulfill purpose. That will not be our portion in Jesus Name. In conclusion, we must allow our vision to align with God; if it not in line with God’s word, it is not to be considered. Ensure that God is at the center of your vision.
