I’d imagine how difficult it can be to dress Modestly especially in today’s world were many people want to show off their wonderful body for the world to see how sexy they look. Oh my gosh!!! Modest dressing is what many of us struggle with nowadays. We want to be that famous, popular or whatever we may call it to suit the standards of this world. However , If we don’t dress in a certain way, we feel left out. Dearest, there is beauty in Modest dressing! Therefore, our dressing must bring honor to God. We don’t have to dress in a certain way to be accepted by the world.

“10 Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” (Galatians 1:10 NLT)

You can still dress modest, and still look cool. I love to dress modestly because the God I serve is holy and He expects me and everyone of us that He created to be holy. Our dressing must be pleasing to our Heavenly Father (Yaweh). Before we purchase clothes, we ought to ask ourselves, if the dress code is accepted in the sight of God? Don’t allow your flesh to choose your wardrobe. You need to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your choice making. Modesty requires love for God and if there is love for God than holiness must be part of it. We cannot afford to dress anyhow because our body is a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1), and dressing is a form of worship. Whatever we wear, we are communicating something to the world. Saints of God, we need to be born again and reconciled with Christ.

“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him” (2 Corinthians 5:18 NLT)

As Christians we cannot dress anyhow! [Take note].

Dearest, I do understand the struggle when it comes to dressing but with the grace of God and His help you can overcome. God Almighty will do a work in your life. Forget about what people may say, do what is right and pleasing to God because at the end of your journey here on earth, you will stand all alone to give account of your own life and not others.

“For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.” (2 Corinthians 5:10 NLT)

Child of God, dressing descent should not only be when we are in the presence of God, it should be our lifestyle. Modesty is not only about dressing but it’s also your heart being dedicated to God (Set apart). There are some dressing that will take people to Hell fire. Why do I say so…… Those assets that expose one’s (buttocks, breast etc,) have made others to commit adultery/fornication.

My beloved brethren, our bodies is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We were bought with a price, and so God expects each and every one of us to dress modest.

“9 And I want women to be modest in their appearance.[a] They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. 10 For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.” (1 Timothy 2:9-10 NLT).

The question we all need to ask ourselves every morning using the mirror is that, is my dressing pleasing to God? Would Jesus be happy with what I’m wearing now? Secondly am i comfortable with what am wearing as a child of God?

Brothers and sisters your dressing determines where you will spend eternity. The days are gone where you have to please people on how you dress. If people ridicule you or call you names, don’t worry! What you must be concerned about is making it to Heaven. There is a nugget Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche says

“It’s better to be alone and be safe, than to be in the wrong company that’s heading for doom…”

Beloved, it’s very easy to miss it in life and that is by associating with the wrong company. Please it doesn’t matter which country you are based, your dressing must be descent. I have witnessed with my eyes how people automatically change when they travel abroad. They want to fit into the system or society, and by doing so they divert. May that not be your portion in Jesus Name. Some of us need just that one word from the Lord. Trust me, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truths. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare what is to come (John 16:13).

In conclusion, be all it takes to live right for Him(Yaweh). Mute all negative voices that would want to distract you from living the path of righteousness/holiness. I pray for you today that God’s grace and boldness to live for Him rest upon you. Beloved I pray that you amend your ways and have eternity in view.
