1. Many of us are excited for valentine’s day being tomorrow Friday the 14th February 2020. We can’t wait to have that charming and romantic experience with that great love one. Oh my gosh…..some are already planning a date night. Boom🗯…..ready to spoil themselves with their, boyfriend, sugar daddy/mummy, fiance/fiancee, name it. Beloved, a lot do happen on this day. Many young souls will be deceived or lured into sexual intercourse with a promise of marriage. There is such excitement which many of us give, and we forget ourselves! As a result of our actions we offend God. Notwithstanding unwanted pregnancies, STDS (HIV, chlamydia, genital herpes, genital warts, gonorrhea etc are contacted on this day). Some have even being poisoned or drugged on this day!

Ladies/gentlemen, be very careful not to fall a victim. Beloved, Jesus is the reason for love. He died to save humanity. No matter our sinful nature, he died for us.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 KJV)

Let us celebrate valentine’s day wisely without being unrighteousness. If you are dating someone, ensure you don’t compromise your faith. Make every effort to keep the bed undefiled.

“Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” (Hebrews 13:4 KJV)

Child of God , no matter the pressure, don’t give in! I remember last year watching a documentary of an innocent girl who had never known a man in her life. She was a virgin! Her friends were jealous of her and decided to be wicked by introducing her to their lifestyle. The end result was that this girl lost her virginity on the 14th February (valentine’s day). The guy that disvirgined her left her! Later her friends began to mock her. The harm has been done already. Please beloved brethren, be very cautious so you don’t fall a victim all because of valentines day and regret your actions later. For the sake of Christ, your integrity as a child of God is very important. Please don’t defile your body as it is the temple of God. My dear brothers and sisters, in the world we live in today, many know how to use sweet words especially if they have a mission to accomplish. I always encourage singles not to be in a quite place together with the opposite sex because anything can happen. It’s essential to be in a public place if you have to go out with your fiance/fiancee.

However, the most important thing is to make sure you are saved. This valentine’s day should be a day you should give something to God, tell people the love of Jesus. Lead souls to Christ and if you are playing church please stop and accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. Valentine’s day will not make sense if your heart is far from God. Salvation is not bought with money; it’s free. Many of us want expensive things such us perfume, handbag, chocolates, red roses, trip (countries) etc. All these are glamorous but the most perfect gift is giving your life to Christ. As you celebrate Valentine’s Day, endeavor to reflect on God’s enduring love for you. Show some love to your family members. Tell them about the love of God! Embrace Jesus on this day.

Finally, if you are still single; God will give you the bone of your bone. By this time next year, you will be settled and married and you will spend your valentine’s with your spouse in Jesus Name. Whatever your desire is, begin to speak it and it will come to pass.

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:24 KJV)

SCRIPTURES TO READ:

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.” (Psalm 136:1)

“16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

“19 We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

Shalom!
