PRAYER ALONE IS NOT JUST ENOUGH!

I woke up this morning with a heavy heart. A lot of people only believe in prayer but never take action. The Bible explains to us that faith without works is dead.

“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” (James 2:17)

Therefore prayer alone is not just enough. We ought to work towards what we are believing God for in order for the breakthrough to come to pass. Most of us can testify here that since the beginning of the year, not all our prayer request or visions have come to pass. Beloved, we only have 1 month and few weeks left before we cross over to 2020 and I believe strongly that if only we can change the way things are done before the year runs out, something positive can happen.

However after prayer take adequate steps towards what you are praying for. For instance If you are looking for employment, send your CV to different organisations/agencies etc…continue praying until you receive your testimony. There is something the man of God Dr Pastor Paul Enenche said sometime that “whatever that does not have a date is not permitted to come to pass. It is when you give it a date that God will know that you are serious.” This is truth and I totally believe because I’ve come to realise that majority of people are in the same boat every year without change. Is it that they are not praying? No! They are praying but there is something else they are not doing to make it to come to pass. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying prayer cannot do anything but what step are you taking to bring the change you are looking for? When you tie what you are believing God for to time , then God will supply your need to make that dream a reality.

Beloved I urge each one of us to stand up in faith and take our place. Let’s not give up but continue in faith praying for change. Let us prepare our hearts to receive! Let not our past restrict us from receiving what God has in store for us. Keep believing in Him and be rest assured that your breakthrough is here! Yes sometimes unbelief will kick in but always believe in change and refuse to accommodate any negative strength that would drown your faith in Jesus Name.
